Testing...Testing...

Hello! Looks like you found me, so this first-ever attempt at being tech-savy is working thus far!

Welcome to what I'm hoping will be a fun, easy way for me to share stories and pictures of what I'm up to with all those of you out there I miss and wish I had more time to communicate with frequently. As I keep figuring this blog business out, my hope is that everyone will have a chance to at least check up on me any time you want. Maybe I'll even get it fancy enough that whether you wonder what I'm doing or not, there will be entertaining things to look at just for fun. At this point I should also say an enormous thank-you to the boyfriend, Bryan, who has been the complete technical brains behind this project...so far, I'm learning...!

At the moment, I'm enjoying the New Year's half of winter break in Northport, WA with Bryan's family, on the tail of the Birthday/Christmas half spent in Riverside, CA with my Mom's family. Going from So Cal inland desert metropolis to Canadian border forest town is about as big a travel spectrum as you could imagine, so we've covered a pretty good variety of things to do with our luxurious days off. Unfortunately though, I didn't think through bringing my camera's computer-connector-cable-thing to upload any pictures of all this holiday fun yet. So more on that later. For now and instead, I decided that with this being the first post AND it being the time of year it is, it's just as appropriate to post a "scrapbook" of pictures that summarize some good times in 2009. As you will see, it's been a pretty good year!
